Abstract

The influence of the rubbing time on the tool wear of the drilling is studied, and it has been understood that the rubbing time produces a big influence on the tool wear. The system, which shortens the rubbing time with intelligent machine tool by quick retraction at the bottom of the hole, has been developed. By using this system the tool life was increased by 85% from the conventional model.
